Tutorial: How To Change Voice Pitch For Your Own Talking Tom Cat Like App

If you have browsed the entertainment section of the app store in the last few months then you are likely familiar with the Talking Tom Cat app, and other voice changing apps from a company known as Outfit7.  These novelty apps have done really well, and you have to tip your hat to how Outfit7 took a simple idea that had already been implemented many times before, ran with it, and turned it into a booming success.

Open Source: Framework For In-App Purchases With Just A Few Lines Of Code

In the past I’ve mentioned some good tutorials for setting up in-app purchases that detail in the entire process of setting up your application for in-app purchases with Apple, and getting the purchases working within your app.

Since I’ve received some feedback about that older posting recently, I thought I would mention that there is  also an excellent framework that simplifies the entire process allowing you to set up in-app purchases.   Using this framework with just a few lines of code you can support in-app purchases within your apps.

An Interview With Ray Wenderlich About The Cocos2D Space Game Starter Kit

If you’ve been trying to develop using Cocos2D on the iOS platform then you are probably very likely familiar with Ray Wenderlich, and his excellent Cocos2D tutorials.

Recently Ray created a Space Game Starter Kit utilizing Cocos2D.  It was almost automatic that I would recommend Ray’s kit, but I wanted to check out everything for myself.

Quick Update: Confirmed Pricing Details From Garage Games – Move To New Server

A few days ago I posted about the price drop in Garage Games iTorque engine, and mentioned that I was unsure whether you were also required to purchase the Torque2D engine.  I received a couple of e-mails asking if I received a response about this.  Garage Games just answered me with a statement that iTorque is now a completely separate product and you no longer need to purchase Torque2D.
